The qualified applicants gathered in Davao from various regions of Mindanao and Davao Selective Seminar for 6th Hiroshima Essential Trainings has started.

The Document Screening Committee was held on 7th and 8th April and 33 applicants out of 138 were qualified to go on the next step, Davao Selective Seminar on 11th and 12th May.

The filled-up form is a requirement for the registration of Davao Selection Seminar. Don’t forget to bring it.

An International Seminar “Peace and Stability through Decentralization” is to be held on Mon. November 13 and Tue. November 14, at Graduate School of Social Sciences, Hiroshima University.
Prof. Lingga, Professor at Institute of Bangsamoro Studies, and Dr. Yacob, Executive Director of Bangsamoro Development Agency will be speakers along with more than 10 from Japan and overseas.

July 28 is the day of Final Presentation.
Professors that have given lectures and that have worked as facilitators in previous batches, Mr. Egashira, Dean of the faculty, Mr. Ikeda, the Director General of JICA Chugoku, Mr. Yamamoto also from JICA, Mr. Shimozaki and Mr. Kawagoe of Hiroshima Prefecture are invited as guests.
The guests comment on their presentation.
Trainees’ serious expression shows their earnestness.
After the presentation Closing Ceremony is held and trainees are given two certificates: one from JICA and one from Hiroshima University and Hiroshima Prefecture.
Trainees continue to prepare for the final presentation.
Last but not least they paid a courtesy visit on Prof. Taki, the dean of Graduate School of Social Sciences, Hiroshima University.
