Peace and Development in Mindanao

Speaker: Mr. Noayuki Ochiai,  Chief Cotabato Project Office, Japan International Cooperation Agency

   Mr. Ochiai, Chief of JICA Cotabato Project Office, who from 2010 to 2013 served as a Japanese representative in IMT (International Monitoring Team) that has been monitoring the ceasefire agreed by the Philippine Government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, has been working for peace and development in Mindanao in various ways. For his endeavor in Mindanao, he received Nakasone Yasuhiro Incentive Award in 2016. In this lecture, he will touch upon the Marawi Siege, too.
